Dr. James Fang
Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Fang was born in Taiwan, immigrated to the US at age 14 and was raised in Queens, New York. He graduated from New York University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. He then attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and Mailman School of Public Health where he received his DDS and MPH degrees. He then began an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, NJ. and completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn New York. Dr. Fang also was a member of Medical Mission Delegate, ENAHPA (Ethiopia North American Health Professional Association) in 2004. He maintains admitting privileges at Beth Israel-Mt. Sinai Medical Center and the Brooklyn Hospital Center and he has published several papers. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Fang is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, and New Jersey Dental Association. He is also on the staff of Morristown Medical Center.
